OAR was established to celebrate the career of Oliver A. Ruff. Mr. Ruff has spent over 36 years educating and mentoring students, while contributing to the civic life of the Evanston community. OAR celebrates Mr. Ruff’s contributions and legacy in education by awarding college scholarships and mentoring to qualified Evanston Township High School (ETHS) students from underserved backgrounds.
