As an educator, Oliver insisted on forming a deep bond with students, colleagues, and the communities he served. During his career, Oliver has worked as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and professional development consultant at a university. He is a founding member of OAR, the Justin Wynn Fund, and the Warren (“Billy”) Cherry Scholarship Fund. Throughout his life and even into retirement, Oliver has striven to model his life on the motto: “High Expectations; No Exceptions; No Excuses!” Today, the motto graces the scholarship that is named in his honor.
